In short I now shoot a 1/2 MOA at 100m, and now I'm happy :to:įree floating and glass bedding might solve yr problem (and most certainly will help), but sometimes your rifle just doesn't like the particular round that you are using. My new load now has a 1mm jump, using 150gr Hornady GMX, length = 83mm, 55.5gr S365. I have worked a load for my rifle and it likes it. I solved the problem by doing/working my own load. I was shooting 180gr factory ammunition, with a 4-6" group at 100m (myself and 4 other friends shot the same result to confirms this, to my disbelief) I had a very similar problem with my Ruger 30-06.
